Your Mission as a Junior Computer Vision Engineer

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, developing, and deploying advanced computer vision systems tailored for real-world applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including software engineers, data scientists, and product specialists—to architect robust image and video analytics solutions that address complex business challenges. Your work will bridge the gap between research and production, ensuring that AI models are not only innovative but also efficient, scalable, and deployable in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development & Optimization: Design, train, and fine-tune computer vision models for tasks such as object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation, and multi-object tracking. Leverage state-of-the-art architectures and frameworks to achieve high accuracy and performance.
• Data Engineering: Curate, preprocess, and manage high-quality datasets, including data cleaning, annotation, and augmentation. Ensure datasets are optimized for training and evaluation to maximize model effectiveness.
• Performance & Scalability: Optimize models for GPU acceleration, inference speed, and scalability to meet production demands. Implement techniques such as quantization, pruning, and model distillation where applicable.
• Deployment & Integration: Deploy computer vision models into production environments using containerized services (e.g., Docker) and cloud platforms. Develop and maintain APIs to facilitate seamless integration with broader AI and analytics ecosystems.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work in tandem with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Maintain comprehensive documentation, adhere to best practices in code quality, and ensure reproducibility of results.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, or deep learning, with a strong focus on computer vision. A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field is required.
• Computer Vision Proficiency: Deep understanding of core computer vision concepts, algorithms, and modern architectures, particularly CNN-based models. Familiarity with frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries like OpenCV is essential.
• Model Development & Deployment: Experience with object detection and segmentation frameworks (e.g., YOLO, Detectron2) and a solid grasp of model evaluation metrics and performance optimization techniques. Proven ability to deploy models in cloud or on-premises environments.
• Software Engineering: Proficiency in Python and familiarity with MLOps practices, including version control (e.g., Git), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with video analytics or real-time inference systems.
• Exposure to advanced architectures such as Vision Transformers or multimodal AI models.
• Familiarity with GPU-based training and inference, including CUDA or similar technologies.
• Background in domain-specific applications, such as healthcare imaging, smart city solutions, or industrial AI.
