We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This role will focus on delivering exceptional onsite technical support, ensuring seamless operations for our cutting-edge histopathology instruments across the region. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining customer satisfaction, driving revenue growth, and upholding the highest standards of service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic and fast-paced role, you will:

• Provide Onsite Technical Support: Perform installations, preventative maintenance, repairs, fault analysis, and upgrades for Leica Biosystems’ histopathology and ancillary equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize customer downtime.
• Ensure Timely and Professional Service: Deliver high-quality, efficient, and safe technical solutions while adhering to strict KPIs and organizational targets. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and implement root cause analyses.
• Support Customer and Sales Teams: Act as a technical liaison between customers and internal stakeholders, offering training, demonstrations, and system builds to enhance customer experience and product adoption.
• Maintain Comprehensive Documentation: Accurately record service activities, expenses, stock management, and customer interactions in CRM and service management systems to ensure transparency and data-driven decision-making.
• Foster Knowledge Sharing: Collect and disseminate technical insights from customer engagements to improve service processes and support continuous learning within the team.
• Occasional EU Support: Provide remote or onsite assistance within the European Union as required, ensuring global consistency in service delivery.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in field service, technical support, or maintenance of histopathology equipment, with a proven track record of troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with network configurations, firewalls, and TCP/IP networking in Windows environments is highly advantageous.
• Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including technical teams, sales personnel, and customers at all levels.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues, implement solutions, and document findings systematically.
• Adaptability and Independence: Capacity to learn new technologies quickly, work autonomously, and thrive in a fast-paced, remote environment.
