We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of high-impact enterprise digital projects, with a specialized focus on Liferay Digital Experience Platform (DXP) implementations. Key Responsibilities

As the Technical Project Manager, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from inception to go-live and beyond, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations and business goals. Your responsibilities will include:

• End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the full spectrum of project activities, including initiation, planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), deployment, go-live, and transition to support. Ensure seamless handover and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Define and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations. Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
• Stakeholder and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, architects, developers, QA specialists, infrastructure teams, and external vendors. Facilitate alignment across all parties to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Requirements and Documentation Management: Translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables. Review and coordinate critical project artifacts, including Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), functional specifications, technical designs, test plans, UAT activities, deployment strategies, and comprehensive project documentation.
• Scope and Change Management: Assess the impact of scope changes on timelines, resources, and costs. Ensure that all modifications are evaluated rigorously and aligned with project objectives.
• Technical Governance and Quality Assurance: Collaborate with technical leads and architects to validate that proposed solutions meet functional, technical, security, performance, and integration requirements. Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Customer and Executive Communication: Manage customer expectations and maintain transparent communication with key stakeholders and senior management. Provide regular updates, insights, and governance reports to ensure alignment and trust.
• Liferay-Specific Expertise: Lead Liferay DXP implementations with a deep understanding of its architecture, capabilities, and best practices. Coordinate environments (Development, QA, UAT, Staging, Production) and ensure seamless integrations with external systems.

Liferay DXP Specialization

This role requires hands-on experience and expertise in Liferay DXP, including:

• Proven success in managing at least two Liferay implementation projects from planning through go-live, demonstrating a strong portfolio of delivered solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Liferay DXP architecture, including CMS, Liferay Objects, Workflow, Roles and Permissions, Forms, Search and Elasticsearch, REST APIs, and Headless APIs.
• Familiarity with SSO, LDAP, Active Directory, SAML, and OIDC integrations, as well as service builders, themes, fragments, and client extensions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Liferay architects and developers, translating technical discussions on integrations, environments, deployments, performance, security, and infrastructure into actionable strategies.
• Experience coordinating multi-environment deployments and understanding enterprise integrations between Liferay and external systems.
• A keen eye for determining when standard Liferay capabilities can be leveraged versus when custom development is necessary to meet unique business needs.
• Bonus experience with Liferay upgrades, migrations, or cloud deployments, further enhancing your ability to drive modern, scalable digital solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in technical project management, with a focus on enterprise digital transformation projects.
• Proven expertise in managing complex IT projects from initiation to delivery, with a strong track record of on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Liferay-specific certifications are a significant advantage.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• A results-driven mindset, with a focus on delivering measurable business value and continuous improvement.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities, with the capacity to navigate ambiguity and drive solutions in dynamic environments.
