Key Responsibilities

Your role will encompass a strategic blend of scientific advocacy, account management, and commercial execution. Here’s what success in this position will look like:

• Scientific Engagement with Healthcare Professionals: Deliver compelling, evidence-based presentations and educational initiatives to pediatricians, neonatologists, obstetricians, dietitians, and other key healthcare providers. Strengthen relationships with opinion leaders to drive adoption of Abbott’s infant nutrition portfolio, ensuring consistent alignment with brand strategies and territory plans.
• Strategic Hospital and Maternity Partnerships: Develop and nurture collaborations with hospitals, NICUs, maternity centers, and pediatric departments. Lead newborn pathway programs and support evidence-based infant nutrition practices, identifying growth opportunities within high-potential accounts. Conduct thorough account reviews and implement tailored development plans to maximize engagement and impact.
• Pharmacy and Channel Advocacy: Build robust relationships with pharmacists and pharmacy chains, enhancing their understanding of Similac products and their role in consumer education. Support pharmacy activation initiatives and educational programs to ensure optimal product visibility and accessibility.
• Territory and Business Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets, market share growth, and commercial objectives within your assigned territory. Stay ahead of market trends, competitor movements, and customer insights to refine territory business plans and optimize ROI. Utilize CRM tools to maintain accurate customer records and data-driven business intelligence.
• Retail Execution and Availability: Collaborate with distributor and trade teams to ensure seamless product availability across key retail and distribution channels. Monitor stock levels, distribution quality, and execution standards, addressing gaps that may hinder customer access. Support promotional initiatives and visibility programs to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
