Key Responsibilities

The Senior Encryption / Onsite Technical Lead will play a central role in designing, deploying, and managing advanced encryption solutions to ensure the highest levels of data protection and compliance. Your responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful implementation of encryption strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Encryption Architecture & Design: Develop and oversee the architecture of encryption systems, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, key management, and secure communication protocols.
• Onsite Technical Oversight: Lead onsite technical engagements, collaborating with clients to assess their encryption needs, recommend tailored solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
• Risk Assessment & Compliance: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and implement encryption measures that meet regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Team Mentorship & Training: Mentor junior engineers and technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation in encryption technologies and security practices.
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary point of contact for encryption-related incidents, providing rapid diagnosis and resolution to mitigate potential security breaches.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with vendors, third-party security providers, and internal stakeholders to evaluate new encryption tools, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise: Proven experience in encryption technologies, including AES, RSA, ECC, TLS/SSL, and PKI. Familiarity with hardware security modules (HSMs) and quantum-resistant cryptography is a plus.
• Leadership Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in a technical leadership role, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing encryption solutions for enterprise environments.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cybersecurity threats, attack vectors, and mitigation strategies, with a focus on encryption as a core defense mechanism.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot encryption-related issues and develop innovative solutions under pressure.
• Onsite Availability: Willingness to travel to client sites in Dammam and surrounding regions as required to support technical engagements and project deliverables.
