Key Responsibilities

As the Senior Electrical Engineer at OSUS, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of electrical engineering across all phases of our projects, ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards and delivering exceptional results. Your role will encompass:

• Technical Leadership and Compliance: Oversee the entire electrical engineering scope, from conceptual design to final commissioning, ensuring full adherence to Saudi and international codes, including NEC, IEC, and local regulations.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Review, approve, and validate critical technical documents such as shop drawings, method statements, ITPs (Installation Test Plans), and testing protocols to guarantee precision and compliance.
• Project Coordination and Procurement: Monitor procurement processes, track engineering progress, and generate comprehensive reports for all electrical and low-voltage (ELV) packages, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Lead technical coordination with consultants, contractors, and vendors, facilitating seamless communication and resolving complex design challenges to maintain project momentum.
• Site Supervision and Safety: Provide hands-on senior-level supervision on-site to ensure installations align with approved drawings and industry standards, while enforcing rigorous safety protocols for all electrical activities.
• Team Mentorship and Development: Mentor junior engineers, foster technical growth, and conduct quality reviews to uphold OSUS’s commitment to excellence and innovation.
• Strategic Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, oversee consultant and contractor teams, and support the preparation of technical evaluations, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and vendor comparisons to optimize project outcomes.
• Innovation and Future-Forward Thinking: Stay ahead of industry trends, advocate for sustainable electrical solutions, and contribute to the integration of smart technologies in our developments.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer with a proven track record in leading complex electrical engineering scopes for large-scale real estate and mixed-use projects. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, complemented by at least 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on major projects.
• Extensive experience in mixed-use developments, villas, and large-scale real estate projects, demonstrating expertise in both residential and commercial electrical systems.
• Proven leadership in electrical design, procurement, and commissioning, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies, including PMO frameworks.
• Proficiency in industry-leading software, including AutoCAD, ETAP, Ecodial, and MS Office Suite, to streamline design, analysis, and documentation processes.
• A deep knowledge of Saudi and international electrical codes and standards, ensuring compliance and best practices in all project deliverables.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors toward shared project goals.
• Experience working with reputable consulting engineering firms, particularly in the Middle East, is highly preferred.
