Role Overview

The Associate - Supply Chain serves as a pivotal member of the supply chain team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day inventory and supply chain operations within healthcare facilities. This role is instrumental in guaranteeing the availability of essential medical and non-medical supplies, thereby supporting seamless clinical services. The Associate will maintain precise inventory records, monitor stock levels, coordinate receiving and storage activities, facilitate material distribution, and contribute to replenishment planning. By ensuring inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, this position directly impacts the uninterrupted delivery of healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate - Supply Chain will perform a range of critical duties, including:

• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Stock Control and Reconciliation: Conduct regular stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and track expiry dates to ensure compliance with FEFO/FIFO principles and regulatory standards.
• Receiving and Storage: Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials in strict adherence to healthcare regulations and organizational protocols.
• Material Distribution: Process material requests, manage stock transfers, and oversee distribution activities to ensure timely delivery to clinical departments.
• Replenishment Support: Monitor consumption patterns and support demand planning efforts by generating replenishment requests to maintain optimal stock levels.
• ERP System Management: Accurately record all inventory transactions in the ERP system on the same day to ensure real-time data integrity and compliance.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain audit-ready documentation and prepare comprehensive inventory-related reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, warehouse, clinical teams, finance, and external suppliers to streamline supply chain operations and address supply-related challenges.

Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary skills:

• Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience in supply chain management, inventory control, warehouse operations, or materials management, with a preference for candidates with experience in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• Preferred Certifications: Certifications such as CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) are highly desirable.
