This role is pivotal in maintaining the availability, performance, and usability of critical systems that drive studio operations, from activation phases through steady-state operations. You will act as a liaison between the Film Studio asset, centralized IT teams, external vendors, and end users, fostering a lean operational environment through proactive coordination and hands-on technical support. Your responsibilities will span system administration, incident management, cybersecurity compliance, and infrastructure readiness, all while aligning with corporate IT governance and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for the following core functions:

  • Operational IT Support: Deliver day-to-day IT operational support and user assistance across the Film Studio asset, addressing technical inquiries and resolving issues to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Systems Administration and Maintenance: Implement, administer, and maintain a wide range of business systems, operational platforms, applications, and core infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • System Coordination: Oversee critical operational systems, including booking systems, reporting tools, access management platforms, and business productivity suites, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the studio.
  • Incident and Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor IT incidents, service requests, recurring issues, and system performance metrics. Escalate critical issues promptly to centralized IT teams or external vendors to ensure timely resolution and service continuity.
  • Vendor and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between the Film Studio asset and centralized IT teams, as well as external service providers, to uphold service standards, resolve escalations, and maintain compliance with corporate policies.
  • Cybersecurity and Access Management: Implement and enforce cybersecurity controls, user access management protocols, password administration, and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information and assets.
  • Operational Readiness: Ensure the IT infrastructure and user environments are fully prepared for activation milestones, tenant onboarding, workshops, and high-profile events, minimizing disruptions and maximizing efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting and Technical Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues across both office and operational environments, ensuring minimal impact on studio operations.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate IT asset inventories, license trackers, system documentation, user records, and operational logs to support audit readiness and corporate governance requirements.
  • Innovation and Digital Transformation: Support the implementation of emerging technologies and future digital solutions that enhance operational efficiency, user experience, and competitive advantage.
  • Event and Partner Support: Coordinate technology support requirements for workshops, events, partner engagements, and tenant-facing activation activities, ensuring seamless execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Assist in disaster recovery planning, backup coordination, and business continuity preparedness to mitigate risks and ensure rapid recovery in the event of disruptions.
  • User Training and Adoption: Facilitate end-user training, onboarding, and adoption of approved operational systems, driving user proficiency and reducing dependency on support channels.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4-6 years of hands-on IT operations, systems support, or service desk experience, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and system administration.
  • Industry Preference: Prior experience supporting operational assets in hospitality, entertainment, events, or other service-intensive environments is highly desirable.
