CCTV Operator – Security Surveillance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

The CCTV Operator will perform a range of duties to uphold a secure environment, including:

• Real-Time Surveillance Monitoring: Continuously observe live and recorded footage from multiple CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activities, unauthorized access, or potential security breaches.
• Incident Reporting and Documentation: Accurately document all observed incidents, including timestamps, descriptions of events, and any relevant details, ensuring thorough records are maintained for investigations and compliance purposes.
• Emergency Response Coordination: Act as the first line of defense in security incidents by promptly alerting appropriate personnel, such as security teams or management, and following established emergency protocols.
• System Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine checks on surveillance equipment to ensure optimal functionality, report any technical issues, and assist in resolving malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Access Control Oversight: Monitor entry and exit points via CCTV to verify compliance with access control policies, ensuring only authorized individuals enter restricted areas.
• Collaboration with Security Teams: Work closely with on-site security personnel, law enforcement, and management to enhance overall security measures and respond to evolving threats.
• Compliance and Training: Stay updated on local and international security regulations, participate in mandatory training sessions, and adhere to PepsiCo’s security policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in security surveillance or related fields is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a security monitoring role, preferably within a corporate or industrial environment.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CCTV systems, video management software, and basic troubleshooting of surveillance equipment.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional observational skills to identify anomalies or potential security risks in real-time footage.
• Communication Skills: Clear and concise verbal and written communication to report incidents and coordinate with security teams effectively.
• Integrity and Professionalism: A strong ethical foundation and the ability to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to remain alert and focused during extended periods of surveillance monitoring, including night shifts or rotating schedules.
