About the Role

As a Senior Architectural Designer at Flow Real Estate MENA, you will be instrumental in shaping the architectural vision of our wellness-driven residential, hospitality, and lifestyle properties. Reporting to the Head of Design and collaborating closely with Project Directors, Interior Design, Development, Operations, and external consultants, you will transform Flow’s brand ethos and design principles into tangible, high-impact architectural solutions. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle—from initial feasibility assessments and concept development to design refinement, construction documentation, and on-site administration. This role is ideal for a design-forward architect who thrives at the intersection of creativity, technical precision, and a deep understanding of wellness, hospitality, and human-centered design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead the conceptualization and development of architectural designs that embody Flow’s wellness-focused philosophy, ensuring spaces promote well-being, natural connectivity, movement, social interaction, privacy, and comfort. Contribute to the planning and design of residential units, amenities, wellness facilities, hospitality spaces, communal areas, and lifestyle environments.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including interior designers, landscape architects, lighting specialists, MEP engineers, structural consultants, and external partners, to ensure cohesive and integrated design solutions. Maintain alignment with Flow’s Brand Standards while tailoring designs to meet project-specific requirements.
• Technical Expertise: Utilize Revit to produce detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, design studies, plans, elevations, sections, and construction documentation. Address complex design challenges with innovative, operationally sound, and commercially viable solutions, always prioritizing resident experience and long-term usability.
• Material & Product Stewardship: Conduct thorough research on materials and products, supporting selection processes that align with Flow’s sustainability, durability, and aesthetic goals. Review and approve consultant and contractor submissions, including shop drawings, material submittals, samples, RFIs, and technical documents.
• Construction Administration: Participate in site inspections, design reviews, and progress reporting to ensure projects adhere to architectural intent, quality standards, and timelines. Maintain meticulous project documentation and contribute to the evolution of Flow’s architectural standards and best practices.
• Project Management: Juggle multiple projects and priorities without compromising on design excellence or delivery standards. Travel to Flow properties and project sites across the region as needed to oversee implementation and address on-site challenges.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a seasoned architectural professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience, preferably in residential, hospitality, mixed-use, wellness, or lifestyle developments. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in residential and hospitality architecture, with a keen eye for designing environments where wellness, lifestyle, and brand identity are paramount. Proficiency in Revit is essential, along with a solid command of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
