In this dynamic role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance BMS solutions across diverse sectors, including commercial, healthcare, hospitality, aviation, residential, and mixed-use developments. Your work will span the entire project lifecycle—from conceptual design and system integration to testing, commissioning, and handover—ensuring seamless functionality and compliance with global standards.

Key Responsibilities

Your expertise will be instrumental in:

• Designing and delivering advanced BMS architectures, control schematics, and system integrations that align with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Developing technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, points schedules, sequences of operation, and detailed specifications to support project delivery.
• Coordinating BMS designs with mechanical, electrical, ICT, security, and energy management systems to ensure cohesive and efficient building operations.
• Ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and cybersecurity protocols while supporting BIM models, drawings, and contractor submissions for accuracy and adherence to design intent.
• Resolving technical challenges through active participation in multidisciplinary meetings and providing expert guidance during design development, tendering, and construction phases.
• Managing project communications, including responding to RFIs, overseeing design changes, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Overseeing field activities, conducting site inspections, and verifying installations against approved designs to guarantee quality and performance.
• Supporting commissioning and handover processes, ensuring that integrated systems meet operational excellence and sustainability goals.
• Advancing smart building initiatives, including energy efficiency, digitalization, and sustainability strategies, to future-proof building infrastructure.
• Collaborating with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and vendors, to achieve seamless project execution and deliverables.

Qualifications and Expertise

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8–12 years of specialized experience in Building Management Systems, Building Automation, or Smart Buildings, with a proven track record in delivering complex BMS solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC controls, monitoring systems, and integrated building technologies, including experience with major BMS platforms such as Siemens Desigo, Schneider EcoStruxure, Honeywell EBI, Johnson Controls Metasys, or Delta Controls.
• Familiarity with regional and international codes, including those applicable to the UAE, KSA, and global markets, ensuring compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Proficiency in design and documentation tools, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office, with a focus on clarity and precision.
• Experience in testing, commissioning, and handover processes, ensuring systems perform optimally from installation to operational readiness.
• A certification advantage in BMS, controls, or smart building technologies, though not mandatory, is highly valued.
