Key Responsibilities

As a Supervisor-Systems, your core responsibilities will include:

• System Oversight: Monitor, manage, and maintain enterprise-level IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases, to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, providing first-line support to end-users while escalating complex problems to senior IT staff as needed.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce IT security protocols to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Team Leadership: Supervise a team of IT professionals, delegating tasks, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive productivity and innovation.
• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to procure, deploy, and integrate new technologies, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Training & Development: Identify training needs within the team and provide guidance to enhance technical skills, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, including planning, resource allocation, and execution, while adhering to budgetary and timeline constraints.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networking, virtualization, cloud computing, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams, communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across departments.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving system inefficiencies or security vulnerabilities.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to evolving technological trends and business needs.
