We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Storage Administrator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and data protection for mission-critical environments. Key Responsibilities & Impact:

As a Senior Storage Administrator at Avensys, your responsibilities will include:

• Enterprise Storage Management: Lead the administration of SAN/NAS storage, including LUN provisioning, RAID configuration, Fibre Channel, and iSCSI, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Data Protection & Availability: Implement and manage backup, replication, snapshots, and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical data while minimizing downtime. Align solutions with RPO/RTO requirements to ensure business continuity.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot storage performance, capacity planning, and infrastructure changes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Virtualization & Integration: Collaborate with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Nutanix to integrate storage solutions seamlessly with enterprise environments.
• Backup & Recovery Expertise: Deploy and maintain backup technologies like Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, or Synology NAS, ensuring robust data protection mechanisms. Familiarity with Azure Storage and Azure Backup is a significant advantage.
• Incident Management: Handle P1/P2 incidents with precision, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and drive proactive solutions to mitigate risks in multi-site data center environments.
• High-Availability Solutions: Design and maintain resilient storage architectures, including high-availability configurations, to support critical production workloads.

Qualifications & Experience:

To excel in this role, you must possess:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise storage administration, including SAN/NAS environments, data center infrastructure, and backup solutions.
• Proven expertise in managing storage capacity, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations.
• Deep knowledge of storage protocols such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and NAS connectivity, along with experience in multi-site data center deployments.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and their integration with enterprise storage solutions.
• Experience with backup technologies (Veeam, Commvault, ExaGrid, Synology NAS) and a strong understanding of disaster recovery planning.
• Azure Storage and Azure Backup experience is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex storage issues and implement scalable solutions.
• Certifications in storage administration (e.g., EMC, NetApp, Dell EMC) are highly desirable.
