We are currently seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh and contribute to the successful execution of a high-profile construction project.

Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Engineer will play a pivotal role in overseeing and monitoring all electrical construction activities from inception to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Oversight: Supervise electrical construction activities across all project phases to ensure adherence to timelines, specifications, and industry standards.
• Design and Documentation Review: Thoroughly evaluate electrical design drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to confirm compliance with project requirements.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all electrical installations and systems meet project specifications, electrical codes, quality benchmarks, and safety regulations.
• Site Inspections and Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections to verify the accuracy and quality of electrical installations, including power distribution, lighting, Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, grounding, and fire alarm systems.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, project managers, and other stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution and resolve any site-related challenges.
• Testing and Commissioning: Oversee the testing and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance to resolve on-site electrical issues and ensure the implementation of best practices.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed inspection reports, technical documentation, and progress reports to keep stakeholders informed and ensure transparency throughout the project.
• Quality Control: Implement and enforce rigorous quality control procedures and project standards to maintain the highest level of workmanship.
• Project Support: Assist project teams in achieving critical project schedules and quality objectives, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in construction and engineering projects, with a proven track record in similar roles.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) organizations is essential, along with a deep understanding of electrical building systems, power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems.
• Technical Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of electrical codes, standards, quality control measures, and safety protocols.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to review and interpret design documentation, technical submittals, and engineering drawings with precision.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information clearly.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering software to support project documentation and analysis.
