As an Agentic AI Engineer at MasterWorks, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing self-sufficient, multi-agent systems that leverage retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), context engineering, tool orchestration, and inter-agent communication to solve intricate, large-scale problems. Your work will bridge the gap between theoretical AI innovation and practical, production-grade solutions, ensuring our systems are not only powerful but also reliable, interpretable, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• Architecting and Deploying Autonomous AI Systems: Design and implement agentic AI frameworks that integrate foundation models, enterprise systems, and external APIs, leveraging both established platforms and custom-built orchestrators to create scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Building Intelligent Workflows: Develop and refine RAG pipelines, memory systems, and reasoning engines that enable agents to make data-driven decisions, adapt dynamically to context, and maintain persistent, goal-oriented behavior.
• Orchestrating Multi-Agent Collaboration: Engineer sophisticated single-agent and multi-agent workflows, including advanced planning, tool delegation, inter-agent communication protocols, and human-in-the-loop oversight to ensure seamless and efficient task execution.
• Optimizing Performance and Reliability: Balance critical factors such as autonomy, latency, cost-efficiency, interpretability, and maintainability to deliver agentic systems that are both powerful and production-ready.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with Generative AI engineers, application developers, MLOps specialists, and product teams to transition agentic AI solutions from experimental prototypes to scalable, enterprise-grade deployments.
• Ensuring AI Safety and Trustworthiness: Monitor, evaluate, and benchmark agent performance while implementing robust guardrails, observability tools, and explainability features to guarantee safety, accuracy, and a superior user experience.
• Documenting and Advancing AI Systems: Create comprehensive documentation for agent architectures, communication flows, context-engineering strategies, memory models, tool interfaces, and orchestration logic to ensure transparency, reproducibility, and ease of maintenance.
• Staying at the Forefront of AI Innovation: Continuously explore and integrate advancements in agentic AI, multi-agent orchestration, RAG techniques, model-context protocols, cognitive architectures, and AI safety mechanisms to keep MasterWorks ahead of the curve.
• Delivering End-to-End AI Solutions: Partner with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and deploy end-to-end AI solutions that address real-world business challenges and drive measurable impact for our customers.
