Senior Software Developer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to lead the technical development of our multi-tenant ERP System. This comprehensive platform integrates core business functions, including Procurement, Accounting, Human Resources Management (HRM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Service Operations, and seamless third-party API integrations. The successful candidate will assume full ownership of the software development lifecycle, from database architecture and backend development to frontend implementation, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of technical quality, performance, scalability, and functional accuracy. This role demands a strategic mindset, deep technical expertise, and the ability to drive end-to-end feature delivery with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for the following core duties and responsibilities:

• Full-Stack Feature Development: Design, develop, and deploy complete features across the entire technology stack, including database schema design, database migrations, server-side API endpoints, and Vue.js-based user interfaces.
• Database Architecture and Optimization: Maintain and extend a sophisticated database comprising approximately 250 tables, 79 views, and 89 migrations. Ensure database integrity, correctness, and backward compatibility while optimizing SQL performance, including the creation and maintenance of database views and the diagnosis of slow queries.
• Multi-Tenant Data Security: Safeguard the integrity of multi-tenant data isolation by implementing and enforcing tenant-specific, company-specific, and branch-specific data access controls. Ensure that every query is correctly scoped to prevent unauthorized data access across tenants.
• Role-Based Access Control: Develop and maintain a robust role-based permission system, including granular permission levels for read, edit, delete, and post actions. Enforce these permissions consistently across both client-side and server-side components.
• Release Management: Prepare and deliver release candidates by building, testing, and documenting changes, including any required database modifications. Provide a structured handover to the Managing Director for final production deployment.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date technical documentation, covering system setup procedures, migration steps, known issues, and best practices to ensure seamless onboarding and operational continuity.
• Third-Party Service Migration: Lead the transition of remaining third-party service dependencies—such as email, SMS, queuing, and document storage—from cloud hosting to on-premise infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum reliability.
• Mentorship and Code Review: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers by reviewing their work, explaining corrections, and progressively transferring ownership of critical modules to foster team growth and accountability.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of five years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on enterprise-level ERP systems or similar complex applications. Proficiency in full-stack development, including database design, backend API development, and modern frontend frameworks such as Vue.js, is essential. Experience with SQL optimization, multi-tenant architectures, and role-based access control systems is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving skills, a commitment to code quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a dynamic team environment.
