Operator & License Owner, Jeddah

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Operator & License Owner to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and licensing requirements. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of licensing protocols to oversee daily activities and uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring all processes are executed in accordance with established guidelines and industry best practices.
• Licensing Compliance: Serve as the primary point of contact for all licensing matters, including renewals, updates, and adherence to local and international regulations. Ensure the facility remains fully compliant with all legal and operational requirements.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of operators and support staff, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team performance and safety awareness.
• Safety and Risk Management: Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors. Conduct routine inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address them proactively.
• Customer and Stakeholder Relations: Maintain strong relationships with customers, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. Act as a liaison to address concerns, resolve issues, and ensure seamless communication across all levels.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. Implement innovative solutions to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to operations, licensing, and compliance. Ensure all records are up-to-date and readily available for audits or inspections.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Alternatively, a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operational or managerial role, with at least 2 years in a licensing or compliance-focused position. Prior experience in the sports, entertainment, or hospitality industry is a strong advantage.
• Licensing Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local and international licensing regulations, including health and safety standards, operational permits, and legal requirements. Familiarity with Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in leading and developing high-performing teams. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve operational excellence.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic. Ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operational software, safety management systems, and compliance tracking tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.

Work Environment

The Operator & License Owner will be based on-site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and will be expected to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role may require occasional travel to attend meetings, training sessions, or regulatory inspections. The position demands a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity.
