Network Engineer (Juniper Certified)

Position Overview

BRDigitech WLL is seeking a highly skilled and certified Network Engineer with expertise in Juniper technologies to join our dynamic team in Dammam. In this critical role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our enterprise network infrastructure to ensure seamless connectivity, robust security, and high performance across all systems. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge of Juniper Networks solutions, including routing, switching, and security technologies, along with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional IT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Network Design and Implementation: Develop and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures using Juniper hardware and software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives and technological advancements.
• Configuration and Troubleshooting: Configure, monitor, and maintain Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions. Diagnose and resolve complex network issues to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance. Utilize Juniper Junos OS and associated tools to manage network devices efficiently.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce network security policies, access controls, and encryption protocols to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or local cybersecurity mandates.
• Performance Optimization: Conduct regular network performance assessments to identify bottlenecks, latency issues, or inefficiencies. Optimize network traffic flow, bandwidth utilization, and routing protocols to enhance overall efficiency and user experience.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topology diagrams, and operational procedures. Generate performance reports, incident logs, and capacity planning forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to provide technical guidance, resolve escalated issues, and implement best practices. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Juniper technologies and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of continuous learning.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications, such as Juniper Networks Certified Associate (JNCIA), Juniper Networks Certified Professional (JNCIP), or Juniper Networks Certified Expert (JNCIE), are highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Juniper MX, EX, QFX, SRX, and vSRX platforms. Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, IS-IS), switching technologies (VLANs, STP, MPLS), and security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS). Familiarity with automation tools (Python, Ansible, Junos Space) is a plus.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to troubleshoot complex network issues, analyze system performance, and implement effective solutions under pressure. Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Communication and Teamwork: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams and contribute to a positive, innovative work environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay current with emerging trends in networking, cybersecurity, and Juniper technologies. Participate in professional development opportunities, such as industry conferences, webinars, or training programs.
