Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities

The Lead Electrical Engineer will play a central role in maintaining the integrity of our electrical infrastructure while supporting business growth and operational efficiency. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership and Support: Provide expert technical guidance on electrical testing, inspection, and maintenance of high-voltage equipment, protective relays, and control circuits. Offer critical insights during failure investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop, monitor, and refine electrical maintenance strategies to enhance the reliability and performance of plant assets. Lead the implementation of integrity audit plans to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Change Management and Approval: Act as the custodian of the Electrical Master Plan, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory frameworks. Serve as the technical authority for approving design changes, ensuring they meet safety, efficiency, and compliance standards.
• Shutdown and Turnaround Support: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute scope of work for electrical disciplines during shutdowns and turnarounds. Ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and maximize asset availability.
• Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, capability building, and accountability to drive business objectives.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all electrical engineering activities adhere to company policies, industry best practices, and safety protocols. Champion a culture of safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness across all operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support project development, engineering studies, and improvement programs. Provide professional engineering advice to enhance operational performance and reliability.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on high-voltage systems, protective relays, and maintenance strategies. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Familiarity with maintenance planning, integrity audits, and failure analysis is essential.
• Leadership and Communication: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, communicate technical concepts effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
