As the Document Controller, you will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity, accessibility, and compliance of project documentation—ensuring seamless workflows for teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jubail, where your meticulous attention to detail and organizational expertise will drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
In this strategic role, your responsibilities will include:
- Document Management & Compliance: Oversee the creation, classification, and secure storage of project documentation—both digital and physical—while adhering to industry standards and client-specific requirements. Implement robust version control systems to track revisions, approvals, and distribution.
- Collaboration & Coordination: Act as a liaison between project teams, departments, and external stakeholders to streamline document workflows. Collect, review, and distribute critical project materials while ensuring alignment with deadlines and regulatory obligations.
- Audit & Risk Mitigation: Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate, up-to-date records. Identify discrepancies, resolve documentation gaps, and implement corrective measures to enhance compliance and reduce project risks.
- Technical Proficiency: Leverage document management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP/database systems to organize, retrieve, and archive files efficiently. Stay current with evolving digital tools to optimize workflow automation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear, concise responses to document-related inquiries from teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. Foster transparency through proactive reporting and information dissemination.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and refine documentation processes to enhance accuracy, reduce redundancies, and improve overall project efficiency.

- Proven Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years in Document Control, Records Management, or Project Administration, preferably within industrial, construction, or engineering sectors. Experience with version control, approval workflows, and archival systems is a must.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in document management software (e.g., SharePoint, SAP, or similar ERP tools), Microsoft Office Suite, and database systems. Familiarity with ISO standards, project documentation protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks is highly advantageous.
- Organizational Acumen: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of data with accuracy. Proven capacity to prioritize tasks under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
- Communication & Collaboration: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies. Ability to translate complex documentation requirements into actionable insights.
- Education: A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent practical experience in documentation-heavy roles may be considered.
- Industry Alignment: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Oil and Gas, Energy, Water Treatment, Cement, or Construction sectors, where documentation rigor is paramount.
