Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Inspection & Compliance: Conduct comprehensive inspections of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished stone products to ensure adherence to international and local quality standards, including ASTM, EN, and ISO guidelines.
• Technical Oversight: Collaborate with design teams to verify technical specifications, dimensions, and finishes, ensuring seamless alignment between project requirements and execution.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices in quality control workflows, reducing defects and enhancing production efficiency in stone cutting, polishing, and fabrication processes.
• Client & Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the technical liaison between AlKan’s production teams, architects, and clients, addressing quality-related concerns with professionalism and expertise.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformities, generating clear reports for internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Training & Mentorship: Upskill production teams on quality control methodologies, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the organization.

Qualifications & Skills:

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience (3+ years) in quality control for stone, marble, or construction materials, preferably in an architectural or fabrication setting.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ASTM, EN, ISO) and testing methodologies for stone products.
• Strong technical proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with stone fabrication processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a significant advantage.
• Leadership abilities to mentor teams and drive process improvements.
