Network Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Network Manager to lead the strategic design, implementation, and maintenance of our bank’s robust network infrastructure. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our network environment, supporting seamless business operations and exceptional customer service. This position requires a seasoned professional with deep technical expertise in network technologies, a proven track record in managing large-scale network environments, and the leadership capabilities to guide a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

The Network Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Network Design and Implementation: Develop and execute comprehensive network infrastructure plans, including voice, data, and security systems, to meet current and future business demands. Ensure the network is scalable, stable, and capable of supporting organizational growth and technological advancements.
• Network Operations and Maintenance: Oversee the continuous monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of network performance, availability, and security. Manage network configurations, upgrades, and patches to maintain peak operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Security and Compliance: Lead the configuration and administration of security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and secure access protocols. Conduct regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments to proactively identify and mitigate risks. Ensure strict adherence to internal policies and external regulatory standards, such as SAMA and AML/CTF.
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop, implement, and test disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical network components and services. Ensure robust backup and recovery procedures are in place to maintain business continuity in the event of disruptions.
• Team Leadership and Collaboration: Provide strategic direction and mentorship to a team of network engineers and administrators. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with IT operations, security teams, and business stakeholders to align network capabilities with organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Nationality: Must be a Saudi national.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced certifications in network technologies, such as CCNP, CCIE, Juniper, or Cisco, are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on experience in network management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity. Proven expertise in managing large-scale, complex network environments is essential.
• Skills and Knowledge:
  • In-depth technical knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security technologies.
  • Proficiency in network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based networking solutions, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of network security principles, access control mechanisms, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the capacity to lead and inspire a technical team.
