Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SME Broker Management professional to join our dynamic team at Bupa Arabia in Jeddah. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the broker relationships that drive our Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) insurance business. Your expertise will play a critical part in enhancing client satisfaction, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering sustainable growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Broker Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with SME brokers to ensure seamless service delivery and mutual business growth. Act as the primary point of contact for broker inquiries, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
• Business Development Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for expanding our SME broker network. Analyze market trends and broker performance to recommend strategic initiatives that align with Bupa Arabia’s objectives.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure all broker interactions and transactions adhere to local regulatory requirements and company policies. Maintain accurate records of broker agreements, performance metrics, and compliance documentation.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate broker performance through key performance indicators (KPIs) such as policy issuance rates, client retention, and customer satisfaction scores. Provide constructive feedback and support to brokers to enhance their effectiveness.
• Training and Development: Organize and deliver training sessions for brokers on Bupa Arabia’s products, services, and operational processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and share insights to elevate the overall broker network’s capabilities.
• Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed reports on broker performance, market trends, and business growth opportunities. Present findings to senior management to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or a related field. Professional certifications in insurance or risk management are highly desirable.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in broker management, insurance operations, or a related field, with a proven track record in SME insurance or corporate broker relationships.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with insurance management systems or CRM tools. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting is essential.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and convey complex information clearly and concisely.
• Analytical Mindset: A data-driven approach to problem-solving, with the ability to interpret performance metrics and market trends to drive actionable insights.
• Leadership and Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal skills to navigate diverse stakeholder relationships.
