Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Documentation: Deliver holistic nursing care by adhering to the nursing process, documenting patient information accurately, and maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and standards. Complete nursing assessments, record medical histories, and ensure all relevant data is documented in a timely and precise manner.
• Operational Readiness: Ensure the clinic is fully prepared for physician use by maintaining appropriate stock levels of consumable materials and operational readiness of medical equipment. Report any equipment failures, safety concerns, or supply shortages to the nurse supervisor promptly.
• Patient Advocacy and Safety: Serve as a strong advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed with empathy and professionalism. Uphold rigorous safety protocols to prevent healthcare-associated infections and promote a culture of safety within the healthcare environment.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Foster open communication and cooperation with physicians, allied health professionals, and administrative staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Compliance and Professional Development: Maintain strict adherence to all policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines based on legislation and evidence-based nursing practices. Participate in ongoing education, training, and self-development initiatives to enhance clinical competencies and stay current with industry advancements.
• Resource Management: Contribute to cost-efficiency efforts by exercising prudent resource utilization. Carefully manage the ordering and use of staff, equipment, and materials to support sustainable healthcare delivery.
• Medication Management: Adhere to established protocols for the safe storage, administration, and documentation of medications, ensuring compliance with Medicines Management policies.

Work Environment and Schedule

The role operates entirely indoors within a clinical or emergency department setting. The position follows a structured schedule of six working days with one designated day off per week. Working hours are eight net hours per day, aligned with the shift schedule approved by the Head of Department. This role requires flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic demands of healthcare delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: A Bachelor’s or Associate Degree/Diploma in Nursing is required. Candidates must hold a valid SCHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) license.
• Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience post-qualification is required. Saudi nationals with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing are exempt from the experience requirement.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in healthcare information systems is essential for efficient documentation and clinical operations.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic, both written and verbal, is required to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
• Certifications: Current Registered Nurse Licensure from the country of origin, in addition to the SCHS Licensure, is mandatory for this position.
