Key Responsibilities

As the Medical Science Liaison for Oncology, you will serve as a trusted scientific advisor and thought leader in the field of Genitourinary Oncology, specializing in Prostate and Bladder Cancers. Your role will focus on fostering peer-to-peer engagement with leading healthcare professionals, including physicians, pharmacists, hospital managers, and key stakeholders in scientific societies. Your primary objective is to maximize the value of our products through high-caliber scientific communication, ensuring alignment with our Medical Affairs Plan and long-term strategic goals.

• Scientific Leadership and Expertise: Stay at the forefront of medical and scientific advancements in Genitourinary Oncology, continuously updating your knowledge of emerging treatments, clinical studies, and patient care trends in the region.
• Strategic Networking: Build and maintain a robust network of relationships with leading specialists, understanding their clinical needs, treatment preferences, and scientific interests to tailor impactful discussions.
• Value Communication: Effectively articulate the scientific and medical benefits of our products, engaging in formulary discussions and promoting innovative treatment approaches that enhance patient care.
• Representation and Advocacy: Represent Johnson & Johnson within professional associations and collaborate closely with Medical Advisors, Medical Leads, and Medical Directors to amplify our scientific voice in the therapeutic community.
• Scientific Engagement: Proactively and reactively communicate accurate, non-promotional scientific information about our products—both approved and in development—to healthcare professionals, addressing inquiries with precision and adherence to Medical Affairs guidelines.
• Medical Education Initiatives: Identify and support speakers for educational events, design impactful medical education programs, and contribute to the dissemination of evidence-based knowledge within the oncology community.
