Collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Production Supervisors, Quality Assurance, Design, Project Management, and Procurement—you will play a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and fostering continuous improvement across the organization.

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling production metrics, from material wastage and labor allocation to machinery utilization and consumable costs. Your strategic oversight will ensure that fabrication schedules are met while upholding stringent quality standards. Additionally, you will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve production challenges, review technical documentation, and maintain accurate records to support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and optimize production and fabrication processes to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
• Monitor and control production costs, including material wastage, labor hours, and consumable usage, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets.
• Efficiently allocate manpower, machinery, and other production resources to maximize output and minimize downtime.
• Set and track daily production targets, ensuring progress aligns with fabrication schedules and project milestones.
• Collaborate with Quality Control, Design, Project Management, and Procurement teams to identify and resolve production-related issues.
• Review work orders, technical drawings, and fabrication documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance before work allocation.
• Maintain precise production records, reports, and documentation to support operational transparency and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee attendance and timesheet management for production teams to ensure accountability and efficiency.
• Enforce adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards, fostering a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
• Drive operational enhancements by identifying inefficiencies and implementing best practices to elevate productivity and quality.

Requirements:

• A **Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering** or a related discipline, or a **Diploma in Mechanical Engineering**, with relevant industry experience.
• **5–7 years of hands-on experience** in **Process or Static Equipment Fabrication** for candidates with a BSc; **8 years of experience** for those with a Diploma.
• Proven expertise in **manufacturing or fabrication environments**, with a strong understanding of production planning, resource allocation, quality control, and cost management.
• Exceptional **coordination and supervisory skills**, with the ability to lead teams and resolve operational challenges effectively.
