Key Responsibilities
Your role will encompass a comprehensive spectrum of clinical and supervisory duties, including but not limited to:
- Clinical Leadership and Patient Care: Provide direct medical and nursing care to patients, offering both clinical interventions and emotional support to foster trust and comfort. Collaborate closely with physicians to assist in diagnoses, administer treatments, and ensure continuity of care through follow-up and advice.
- Infection Control and Hygiene: Enforce stringent adherence to infection control guidelines, ensuring clinical surfaces, equipment, and patient care areas are sanitized to the highest standards. Implement and monitor hygiene protocols to safeguard patient and staff health.
- Medical and Administrative Coordination: Manage patient intake by documenting medical histories, triaging emergencies, and assessing risks such as falls, nutritional deficiencies, and functional limitations. Perform vital sign measurements, minor wound dressings, and point-of-care testing while maintaining meticulous documentation.
- Medication and Procedure Management: Administer intramuscular and intravenous medications under aseptic conditions, withdraw blood samples for laboratory investigations, and assist physicians during examinations and procedures. Ensure patient dignity and comfort throughout all interactions.
- Supply Chain and Inventory Oversight: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical equipment and consumable materials to prevent shortages and ensure uninterrupted patient care. Conduct regular audits to optimize stock levels and equipment availability.
- Supervisory and Team Development: Lead and mentor newly recruited nurses, providing comprehensive orientation and ongoing professional development. Supervise registered nurses, conduct annual performance appraisals, and collaborate with the medical director to uphold quality care standards.

Work Environment and Schedule

Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Education: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing from a recognized institution, validating your foundational clinical knowledge and expertise.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-graduation nursing experience, complemented by 2 years of hands-on experience as a Nurse Manager in a clinical setting. Your background should demonstrate a strong track record of leadership, patient care, and operational management.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) to efficiently manage patient records, schedules, and clinical data.
