Key Responsibilities

The Medical Representative will be responsible for driving the sales and promotion of Viatris products within a designated geographic territory. Your primary focus will be to engage with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to ensure they are equipped with the latest medical knowledge and resources to make informed decisions for their patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Physician Engagement: Conduct visits to physicians to support them in managing patient diseases using Viatris products, ensuring adherence to medical guidelines and best practices.
• Scientific Dissemination: Distribute product samples, scientific literature, and clinical trial data to HCPs to facilitate informed prescribing decisions. Address any queries regarding product usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Feedback Collection: Regularly follow up with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and other stakeholders to gather feedback on Viatris products and address any concerns or questions.
• Market Intelligence: Provide timely updates to management on customer requests, promotional responses, product access issues, and changes in the healthcare system or hospital structures. Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns by sharing real-world market insights and customer needs.
• Inventory and Reporting: Monitor stock levels, consumption patterns, and ordering processes to ensure product availability. Prepare and submit periodic reports on HCP visits, sales activities, market feedback, threats, and opportunities.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short-term action plans tailored to your territory and products. Update customer lists based on segmentation and insights to optimize engagement strategies.
• Advocacy and Partnership: Identify and cultivate new advocates by aligning with customer priorities and needs. Collaborate with HCPs to design and implement bold partnership programs that expand business opportunities and enhance market reach.
• Performance Management: Work closely with the Sales Manager to set engagement plans and ensure their successful execution. Take full responsibility for achieving business and financial targets, including percentage growth, market share, and IMS parameters for your territory.

Qualifications and Competencies

To excel in this role, you will need the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
• Experience: Up to 3 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; additional Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and tools relevant to the role.
• Soft Skills: Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, team-building, persuasive, and negotiation skills.
• Personal Attributes: Agility in adapting to change, decisiveness, accountability, integrity, and a commitment to continuous self-improvement. Ability to build peer relationships and foster a collaborative work environment.
