Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist to lead and oversee the comprehensive IT infrastructure operations for a dynamic enterprise based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This pivotal role demands a highly skilled professional with extensive technical expertise, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence, innovation, and digital transformation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing enterprise-wide infrastructure, including Data Center operations, Server and Virtualization platforms, Network Infrastructure, Linux/Unix environments, Deskside Support, Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), and Endpoint solutions.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring high availability, service reliability, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can champion the adoption of emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agentic AI to enhance operational efficiency, automate processes, and elevate the organization’s cybersecurity posture. Key Responsibilities

The Manager - Technical Infrastructure Specialist will be accountable for the following core functions:

• Infrastructure Delivery Management:
  • Lead the end-to-end operations and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure, including Data Center facilities, Server and Virtualization platforms, Network Infrastructure (LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, SD-WAN), Linux/Unix platforms, Deskside Support Services, SOC, NOC, Storage, and Backup systems.
  • Ensure the operational readiness, availability, and reliability of all infrastructure components to meet business demands.
  • Drive proactive monitoring, incident management, problem resolution, and root cause analysis to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
  • Oversee capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability initiatives to support organizational growth and technological advancements.
• Service Delivery & SLA Management:
  • Establish, monitor, and maintain service levels that align with business requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Achieve and exceed SLA, OLA, KPI, and uptime targets through rigorous performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead major incident management efforts, including service restoration and post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
  • Develop and maintain executive dashboards and reports to provide transparency into service performance, risks, and opportunities for enhancement.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices and robust service management processes to drive operational excellence and compliance.
• Strategic Leadership & Innovation:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT infrastructure strategies with organizational goals and technological advancements.
  • Champion the adoption of AI and automation technologies to streamline operations, reduce manual interventions, and improve efficiency.
  • Identify and implement service improvement plans to enhance reliability, security, and user experience across all infrastructure domains.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, ISO standards, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Minimum of 12-13 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure management, with a proven track record in leading large teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in at least two core technologies, such as Server/ Virtualization, Network Infrastructure, Linux/Unix platforms, or Security Operations.
  • Strong understanding of automation, AI-enabled operations, and their application in IT infrastructure management.
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance management frameworks to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership & Soft Skills:
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams of 25+ professionals across diverse technology domains, including Helpdesk, Server, Network, and Cloud environments.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, business partners, and external vendors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges and drive data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and present strategic initiatives with clarity.
• Preferred Background: Prior experience working with leading IT service companies such as Wipro, Cognizant, LTI, or similar organizations is advantageous.

Work Location & Eligibility

This is an onsite position based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Candidates must currently reside in KSA and be available for long-term employment. Preference will be given to Indian nationals currently working in the Kingdom.
