About the Role

As a Maintenance Engineer at our Accor-affiliated hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our facility by overseeing and executing comprehensive maintenance strategies. Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic position, you will be entrusted with the following core responsibilities:

• Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop, implement, and oversee planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment failures and operational disruptions. Monitor the performance of machinery and systems to proactively identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Lead the diagnosis and resolution of electrical, mechanical, and control system issues, ensuring rapid and effective repairs to restore optimal functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
• Project and Installation Support: Participate in the installation, commissioning, and testing of new machinery and equipment, ensuring compliance with technical standards and maintenance requirements. Contribute to machine construction, modification, overhaul, and refurbishment projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records, including work orders, breakdown reports, equipment history, and technical documentation. Ensure all activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and industry standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze recurring equipment failures through root cause analysis (RCA) to identify corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Lead problem-solving initiatives aimed at improving equipment reliability, efficiency, and maintenance performance. Support the development and implementation of maintenance KPIs to track progress and drive accountability.
• Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Manage spare parts and maintenance materials by monitoring stock levels, identifying critical spares, and ensuring timely replenishment. Review technical specifications to support the procurement of high-quality spare parts, tools, and equipment.
• Contractor and Vendor Coordination: Oversee external contractors and service providers during specialized maintenance, inspections, and repairs, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Collaborate with procurement teams to select and manage reliable maintenance service providers.
• Team Leadership and Training: Train, mentor, and supervise maintenance technicians and team members in proper troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance techniques. Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning within the maintenance team.
• Budget and Planning Support: Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, annual maintenance plans, and equipment replacement proposals. Review equipment manuals, technical drawings, and manufacturer recommendations to ensure best practices in maintenance and repair.
• Technology and Innovation: Support the implementation and enhancement of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to streamline maintenance operations and improve data accuracy. Participate in equipment performance reviews, reliability improvement programs, and energy-efficiency initiatives to drive operational sustainability.
