Senior Accountant

Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and meticulous Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in overseeing our financial operations while ensuring strict adherence to local accounting and tax regulations. This position is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing corporate financial policies, maintaining compliance with international standards, and driving financial efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Senior Accountant will be entrusted with a wide range of critical financial duties, including:

• Policy Implementation and Compliance: Enforce the Group headquarters' financial management policies and corporate regulations to align with Group requirements, ensuring seamless integration of global standards into local operations.
• Financial Reporting and Accounting: Conduct daily accounting operations in strict compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), covering revenue, expenses, payroll, fixed assets, intangible assets, and other essential accounting functions.
• Financial Statements Preparation: Compile and submit accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements within the stipulated deadlines, as mandated by Group headquarters.
• Receivables and Payables Management: Oversee the clearing of receivables and payables, perform meticulous monthly intercompany reconciliations with related parties, and promptly communicate reconciliation outcomes to Group headquarters.
• Tax Management and Compliance: Handle tax calculations, filings, and payments with precision, while enhancing invoice management processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, provide monthly updates on budget performance, and deliver quarterly profit forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
• Internal Controls and ERP Management: Supervise internal control frameworks and ensure the effective implementation of ERP process management to maintain operational integrity and data accuracy.
• Audit Coordination: Facilitate audits required by Chinese and Saudi regulations, completing all audit-related tasks within the deadlines set by Group headquarters to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Ad-hoc Responsibilities: Undertake additional tasks and projects as assigned by senior management to support the organization’s financial objectives.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Certification: ACCA certification is required to demonstrate expertise in accounting standards and practices.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, with a proven track record in financial management and reporting.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian Unified (SAU) accounting principles and tax laws, along with exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with stakeholders and ensure clarity in financial documentation.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve complex issues with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
• Work Environment: Capability to work independently and thrive in a multicultural setting, demonstrating adaptability and cultural sensitivity.
• Work Schedule: Availability to work six days per week to meet the demands of the role and support the organization’s operational needs.
