Key Responsibilities

• **Design and Implement Enterprise Security Solutions**: Architect and deploy advanced network security frameworks to protect data, applications, and infrastructure across **data center and enterprise environments**.
• **Manage Palo Alto Firewall Infrastructure**: Maintain, monitor, and optimize **Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)**, including **Panorama**, **GlobalProtect VPN**, and **Threat Prevention** systems to ensure seamless and secure network operations.
• **Security Policy and Compliance**: Conduct **firewall policy reviews**, enforce best practices, and ensure alignment with **industry standards and regulatory requirements**.
• **Incident Response and Troubleshooting**: Diagnose and resolve complex **network and security incidents**, leveraging deep knowledge of **TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies** (IPSec/SSL VPN).
• **High Availability and Disaster Recovery**: Support **HA deployments**, migration activities, and **Business Continuity (BC) initiatives** to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
• **Threat Intelligence and Log Analysis**: Analyze security logs, identify vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures to mitigate risks using **URL Filtering, WildFire, App-ID, and User-ID** technologies.
• **Lead Security Initiatives**: Drive **security improvement projects**, infrastructure upgrades, and **DR/HA enhancements** to strengthen the organization’s defense posture.

Core Requirements

• 5–8 Years of Proven Experience in network security, with a strong focus on **enterprise and data center environments**.
• Expertise in Palo Alto Networks (mandatory), including hands-on experience with **Panorama, GlobalProtect VPN, Security Policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID, Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and WildFire**.
• Deep Technical Knowledge of **network security architecture, routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLANs), and VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN)**.
• High Availability (HA) Deployment and Migration experience, with a track record of seamless implementation and optimization.
• Advanced Troubleshooting and Log Analysis skills to identify, analyze, and resolve security incidents efficiently.
• Certifications Preferred (but not mandatory): **PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)** is highly valued. Additional recognition for **PCNSA or CCNP Security** certifications.
