KNIME Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced KNIME Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of KNIME workflows, ensuring seamless data integration, transformation, and analysis across enterprise systems. Your expertise will be pivotal in driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing our data infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in KNIME workflow development, ETL processes, and system integration, with a proven ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and support complex data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• KNIME Workflow Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, maintain, and support KNIME workflows to facilitate efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), data preparation, and data quality assurance processes.
• Enterprise Data Integration: Integrate KNIME with diverse enterprise data sources and services, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across systems.
• KNIME Environment Administration: Administer and troubleshoot KNIME environments, including platform upgrades, testing, deployments, and performance optimization to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Incident Management & Root-Cause Analysis: Proactively troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance system stability.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to align KNIME solutions with organizational objectives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and conduct knowledge-transfer sessions to empower teams and ensure sustainable operational excellence.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with KNIME, including workflow development and administration.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in ETL processes, data preparation, data workflows, and data quality management. Familiarity with programming and system/data integration is essential.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization: Proven experience in troubleshooting, testing, deployments, and platform upgrades, with a focus on performance optimization and reliability.
• ITIL Framework: Solid understanding of ITIL-based Incident, Change, and Release management processes to ensure adherence to best practices in IT service delivery.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
• Work Arrangement: Ability to work onsite in Riyadh or offshore, depending on project requirements and organizational needs.
