We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Healthcare Data Analyst (Medicaid) to join our partner’s team in Saudi Arabia. This senior-level role is dedicated to leveraging healthcare data to enhance Medicaid program oversight, ensuring integrity, efficiency, and compliance. The ideal candidate will possess advanced analytical expertise, a deep understanding of Medicaid policies, and a commitment to transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive meaningful public-sector healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Healthcare Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing large and intricate datasets to identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and potential areas of fraud, waste, and abuse within the Medicaid program. This position requires a blend of technical proficiency, policy knowledge, and research acumen to develop methodologies that support program integrity. The role involves collaborating with technical teams and leadership to investigate critical questions and design practical analytical solutions that inform strategic decision-making.
Core responsibilities include:
- Advanced Data Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis, interpretation, and reporting of Medicaid data, creating methodologies and analytical approaches that strengthen program oversight and integrity.
- Pattern and Trend Identification: Examine large datasets to uncover meaningful patterns, trends, anomalies, and high-risk areas, providing actionable insights to mitigate fraud, waste, and abuse.

- Analytical Solution Development: Design analytical rules, methodologies, and solutions that translate complex healthcare data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership.
- Exploratory Research and Critical Thinking: Apply advanced research techniques and critical thinking to assess program requirements and determine how data can inform strategic decision-making processes.
- Data Visualization and Reporting: Develop compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and accessibility of insights.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify solutions to complex analytical challenges, fostering a collaborative environment that drives innovation and program improvement.
- Fraud Prevention and Detection: Contribute to data-driven approaches that support the detection and prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse across Medicaid programs, ensuring program integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Public Health) and a minimum of five years of professional experience in conducting advanced analysis of Medicaid data.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with T-MSIS data and demonstrated expertise in analyzing Medicaid datasets. Proficiency in SQL, Python, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable tools for data analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and visualization is essential.
- Analytical Capabilities: Proven ability to work efficiently with large and complex datasets, uncovering actionable patterns, trends, and insights that address program challenges.
- Policy and Research Expertise: Experience developing advanced analytical solutions that address business or program challenges, with a strong understanding of Medicaid policy and its implications on data analysis.
- Fraud Detection and Prevention: Demonstrated experience in creating analytics and visualization solutions designed to identify and help prevent healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for diverse audiences. Strong collaboration skills, combined with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of complex assignments.
- Security Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the required NACI (Tier 1) public trust designation to ensure compliance with security protocols.
- Work Arrangement: Willingness to work remotely with limited travel, expected to be less than 10% of the role’s responsibilities.
Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary range of $106,250–$143,750 USD annually, with final compensation determined by experience, location, and applicable contractual agreements.
