• Emergency Triage and Management: Collaborate with Emergency Room nurses to prioritize patient care based on the urgency of their conditions, ensuring that the most critical cases are addressed promptly.
• Clinical Decision-Making and Treatment: Initiate and oversee evidence-based medical interventions, from stabilizing acute illnesses and injuries to managing complex pediatric, orthopedic, and surgical cases. Ensure all treatments align with your professional scope of practice and hospital protocols.
• Patient Referral and Continuity of Care: Facilitate seamless transitions by referring patients to relevant specialists for further consultation, admission, or ongoing care as clinically indicated.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records in accordance with hospital regulations, including all assessments, treatments, and patient education sessions.
• Patient and Family Education: Engage with patients and their families to provide clear, culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate health education. Tailor your approach to address individual learning needs, preferences, and readiness to ensure informed decision-making.
• Collaborative Care Coordination: Work closely with fellow Emergency Medicine physicians, medical department specialists, and support staff to deliver cohesive and patient-centered care.

• Adherence to Ethical and Regulatory Standards: Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics, comply with Ministry of Health regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and align with hospital bylaws and quality assurance protocols.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in Emergency Medicine is required. Experience in sub-specialty areas is desirable.
• Licensing and Registration: Current and valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia, along with registration with the Saudi Medical Council.
