Your Strategic Leadership Role

In this pivotal position, you will own the medical strategy for the cardiometabolic therapy area, aligning regional priorities with global medical guidance while addressing the unique patient and healthcare challenges of Saudi Arabia. Your responsibilities will span the entire medical and scientific communication lifecycle, from clinical trial phases to real-world evidence generation and publication planning. You will serve as the primary medical liaison, fostering deep, meaningful relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), external experts, and professional associations to ensure our therapies are supported by robust, evidence-based insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Medical Strategy Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive medical affairs strategy for cardiometabolic health, ensuring alignment with global objectives while addressing local healthcare priorities and patient needs.
• Scientific Communication Leadership: Lead the development and execution of scientific and medical communication strategies, including publication planning, real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives, and clinical trial data dissemination to healthcare professionals (HCPs).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture strategic relationships with national and international KOLs, external experts, and professional associations to drive medical insights and influence best practices in cardiometabolic care.
• Insight Generation: Plan and lead Advisory Boards and other insight-generation activities to gather critical HCP perspectives, ensuring these insights inform strategic decisions and therapy area priorities.
• Medical Education & Engagement: Oversee medical education initiatives, including scientific meetings, congresses, and symposia, to enhance HCP knowledge and adoption of innovative cardiometabolic therapies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a senior medical partner to Commercial, Regulatory, Research, Market Access, Public Affairs, and other teams, providing expert guidance and ensuring medical insights are integrated into all business strategies.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage, mentor, and develop senior professionals and first-line managers, fostering a high-performing team capable of delivering exceptional medical and scientific outcomes while supporting career growth.
