About the Role

As the Risk Management Supervisor, you will play a critical role in shaping Salehiya’s risk governance framework. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Audit and Risk, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of risk management—from identification and assessment to mitigation and monitoring—while fostering a culture of risk awareness across the organization. This position demands a blend of analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will span operational excellence, strategic oversight, and collaborative leadership:

• Strategic Risk Governance: Maintain and continuously update the corporate risk register, ensuring comprehensive input from all departments to reflect evolving business dynamics. Collaborate with risk champions to identify, assess, and prioritize risks while aligning them with organizational goals.
• Risk Mitigation and Monitoring: Drive the implementation of risk mitigation actions, track progress, and validate the effectiveness of controls. Prepare insightful risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the Audit Committee, providing clear visibility into risk exposure and trends.
• Proactive Risk Oversight: Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and escalate issues to management when thresholds are exceeded. Stay ahead of emerging risks by analyzing internal and external developments, ensuring Salehiya remains resilient in an ever-changing landscape.
• Workshops and Training: Organize and facilitate risk workshops, training sessions, and awareness programs to cultivate a risk-aware culture. Develop and maintain risk-related documentation, including policies, procedures, and templates, to support consistent risk management practices.
• Collaborative Assurance: Support internal audit and compliance functions by providing risk-related insights for assurance planning, coordination, and execution. Assist in defining and reviewing the organization’s risk appetite and tolerance levels to balance growth with prudent risk-taking.
• Technical and Administrative Support: Manage risk management software or tools, ensuring seamless integration into daily operations. Respond to ad hoc risk-related requests and contribute to special projects or initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in risk management, with a preference for experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
• Proficiency in recognized risk management frameworks such as COSO, COSO ERM, or ISO 31000.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex risk data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, enabling you to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• A certification such as CRMA, IRMCert, or an equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Experience with risk management software and a commitment to continuous learning in emerging risk trends.
