QC Engineer - Electrical

Position Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of electrical quality control throughout our manufacturing and assembly processes. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining compliance with industry regulations, project specifications, and our commitment to delivering superior modular building solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance & Control: Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive quality control procedures for all electrical systems within modular buildings, including wiring, circuits, panels, and control systems. Conduct thorough inspections to verify compliance with international standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI, NEC) and project-specific requirements.
• Testing & Validation: Perform rigorous testing of electrical components and systems to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to assess performance, safety, and functionality prior to installation and deployment.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of all quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed documentation to support compliance audits, certifications, and client deliverables.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and production staff, to identify opportunities for enhancing electrical system quality, efficiency, and reliability. Recommend and implement best practices to minimize defects and improve overall product performance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations and components adhere to local, regional, and international regulatory standards, including safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and industry-specific certifications. Stay updated on evolving regulations and incorporate necessary adjustments into quality control protocols.
• Training & Mentorship: Provide guidance and training to production and assembly teams on electrical quality standards, inspection techniques, and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of quality awareness and accountability across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Professional certifications in quality control, such as ISO 9001 or Six Sigma, are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in electrical quality control within the construction, manufacturing, or modular building industry. Prior experience with modular or prefabricated structures is a strong advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring diagrams, circuit design, and testing methodologies. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and thermal imaging cameras, is essential.
• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify root causes of defects and implement effective corrective actions. Attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality assurance are critical.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with internal teams, clients, and regulatory bodies. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
