Senior Software Engineer - (IOS & Android)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mobile Engineer with a proven track record in both iOS and Android development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, building, debugging, publishing, and maintaining robust mobile applications across the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Proficiency in Flutter is a significant advantage, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams is essential. Key Responsibilities

• Mobile Application Development: Develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless functionality and user experience.
• Cross-Platform Development: Utilize Flutter (Dart) to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications, enhancing code reusability and efficiency where applicable.
• Platform-Specific Development: Implement native features using Swift and Objective-C for iOS, and Kotlin or Java for Android, leveraging platform-specific capabilities to deliver optimal performance.
• API Integration: Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs to enable data synchronization, real-time updates, and seamless connectivity with backend systems.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: Diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues through rigorous testing, debugging, and performance optimization to ensure application stability and reliability.
• App Store Deployment: Publish and maintain applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, adhering to platform guidelines and best practices for deployment and updates.
• Agile Collaboration: Work collaboratively within Agile or Scrum frameworks, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with product managers, backend engineers, and QA teams to align mobile solutions with business objectives and technical requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development, with a strong focus on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Expertise in Swift, Objective-C, and Xcode for iOS development.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin or Java and Android Studio for Android development.
  • Experience with Flutter (Dart) for cross-platform development.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Database Design, and XML Schema.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and integration methodologies.
• Development Methodologies: Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments, with proficiency in tools such as Jira for project management and tracking.
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional debugging and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
