Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 or later), with a strong focus on Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules. This role requires a seasoned professional capable of designing, developing, and implementing robust technical solutions while adhering to Oracle best practices and collaborating closely with functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Oracle EBS Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for a wide range of technical activities to enhance and optimize Oracle E-Business Suite environments. Your core duties will include:

• Technical Development & Customization: Design, develop, customize, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 or later) solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and Oracle standards.
• Oracle Application Framework (OAF): Build and extend OAF pages, controllers, and personalizations to enhance user experience and functionality.
• Java & PL/SQL Development: Develop and maintain Java components integrated with OAF customizations, and optimize SQL and PL/SQL objects, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex queries.
• Reporting & Integrations: Design and develop XML and BI Publisher reports, as well as XML-based integrations to streamline data processing and reporting.
• Oracle Application Object Library (AOL): Configure and manage AOL components such as concurrent programs, value sets, flexfields, responsibilities, and profile options to ensure system efficiency.
• Forms & Workflow Development: Customize and troubleshoot Oracle Forms implementations, including CUSTOM.pll modifications, and develop, customize, and support Oracle Workflow processes, notifications, and Workflow Mailer.
• Concurrent Processing: Develop, schedule, and optimize concurrent programs, executables, and request sets to improve system performance and resource utilization.
• Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical design documents and solutions. Participate in system integrations, data migration, performance tuning, testing, deployment, and production support. Produce high-quality technical documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer sessions.
• Integration & Troubleshooting: Develop integrations using Oracle public APIs, Open Interface tables, Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway, SOAP, and REST web services. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless system operations.

Qualifications & Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Technical roles (R12 or later).
• Proven track record in at least 3 full-cycle Oracle EBS implementation, integration, or migration projects.
• In-depth technical expertise in Oracle SCM modules, particularly:
• Purchasing (PO)
• Inventory (INV)
• Order Management (OM)
• Extensive experience with Oracle Open Interfaces and Public APIs.
• Experience integrating Oracle EBS with SAP or another major ERP system is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently produce technical designs and solutions.
• Proficient troubleshooting, analytical, and performance tuning capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Integrated SOA Gateway.
• Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS upgrades, migrations, and cloud integration projects.
• Familiarity with Oracle development best practices and coding standards.
• Oracle certifications are considered a valuable asset.
