Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Your expertise will directly support cardiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams in achieving optimal patient outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care and Preparation: Conduct thorough patient preparation for cardiovascular procedures, including Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography (TTE and TEE), ensuring comfort, safety, and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Imaging and Procedure Support: Operate and maintain state-of-the-art imaging equipment to acquire high-quality diagnostic images and assist during interventional procedures. Monitor patients intra-procedurally, providing real-time support to physicians and ensuring accurate documentation of all findings.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver cohesive and patient-centered care. Contribute to inventory management of interventional products, ensuring availability and compliance with institutional standards.
• Safety and Compliance: Implement rigorous radiation safety protocols, adhere to clinical guidelines, and maintain meticulous medical records in accordance with regulatory and institutional requirements. Participate in quality assurance initiatives to enhance procedural outcomes and patient safety.
• Patient Education and Communication: Educate patients and their families about upcoming procedures, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care instructions, fostering trust and understanding.
• Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning to stay abreast of advancements in cardiovascular technology and emerging clinical practices. Attend training sessions, workshops, and certifications to expand your expertise and contribute to the evolution of cardiovascular care.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess a robust clinical foundation in cardiology and medicine, with hands-on experience in cath lab environments. Proficiency in Transthoracic and Transesophageal Echocardiography, as well as echocardiography techniques, is essential. The ideal candidate will have:

• A diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, or a related healthcare field from an accredited institution.
• Proven experience in operating and maintaining cath lab equipment, including imaging and monitoring devices, with a strong understanding of workflows and safety protocols.
• Demonstrated ability to apply radiation safety principles, follow clinical guidelines, and maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration in a multidisciplinary setting.
• A detail-oriented approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to ethical practice and patient-centered care.
• Willingness to pursue continuous professional development, including proficiency in English (IELTS or TOEFL certification is required).
