Key Responsibilities

As a Merchandiser at PepsiCo, your core responsibilities will include:

• Product Placement and Presentation: Execute planograms with precision, ensuring products are displayed according to PepsiCo’s merchandising standards. This includes organizing shelves, coolers, and displays to optimize product visibility and accessibility.
• Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and remove expired or damaged items to maintain a clean and well-stocked retail environment. Collaborate with store staff to ensure timely replenishment and minimize out-of-stock situations.
• Promotion Execution: Implement in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches in alignment with PepsiCo’s marketing strategies. Set up promotional materials, signage, and displays to drive consumer interest and boost sales.
• Retail Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with retail store managers, staff, and key decision-makers. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure seamless collaboration and adherence to PepsiCo’s merchandising guidelines.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Accurately record and report merchandising activities, including shelf conditions, competitor presence, and promotional execution. Utilize mobile tools or tablets to submit real-time updates and ensure compliance with PepsiCo’s standards.
• Compliance and Standards: Uphold PepsiCo’s brand integrity by ensuring all merchandising activities comply with company policies, health and safety regulations, and local laws. Address any discrepancies or issues promptly to maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in merchandising, retail, or sales within the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is highly desirable.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with retail partners and PepsiCo stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using mobile devices, retail management software, or data collection tools is advantageous.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high standards in product presentation and customer experience.
• Ability to work independently, travel to assigned retail locations, and adhere to a flexible schedule as needed.
