Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Auditor to join our dynamic team within the Audit & Assurance practice in Riyadh. Key Responsibilities

• Leadership & Supervision: Oversee and guide junior team members, ensuring the timely and accurate execution of audit engagements while maintaining adherence to professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, fostering strong professional relationships and ensuring client satisfaction through exceptional service delivery.
• Audit Execution: Plan, execute, and complete audit assignments, including risk assessment, internal control evaluation, substantive testing, and financial statement analysis, in accordance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare comprehensive audit reports, management letters, and working papers that clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and observations to stakeholders, including senior management and audit committees.
• Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with Deloitte’s internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical guidelines, while maintaining the highest standards of professional integrity and objectivity.
• Business Development: Contribute to business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand service offerings, cross-sell solutions, and enhance client relationships.
• Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in the audit profession through ongoing professional development and participation in training programs.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly desirable.
• Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive audit experience, preferably within a Big 4 firm or a reputable organization, with exposure to diverse industries such as financial services, energy, or manufacturing.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), International Standards on Auditing (ISA), and audit methodologies. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and time management capabilities.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is mandatory; additional proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
