Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned IT Operations & Platform professional to lead and optimize our enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless service delivery, robust security, and high availability across all systems. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of overseeing a diverse range of IT operations, from enterprise-wide incident management to advanced platform administration, while driving innovation through automation and DevSecOps practices. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise across multiple domains, including IT service management, virtualization, storage, networking, and enterprise applications, with a proven track record of aligning IT operations with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise Operations Leadership: Lead Enterprise Operations, Emergency Operations Center (EOC), and Service Desk activities to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and rapid response to critical incidents.
• Major Incident Management (MIM): Oversee and execute Major Incident Management processes to minimize downtime, restore services swiftly, and maintain adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) targets.
• Service Desk & Field Support Oversight: Manage Service Desk and Field Support teams, ensuring alignment with performance metrics, SLAs, and service quality standards.
• ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM Administration: Govern and administer ServiceNow ITSM/ITOM, including Configuration Management Database (CMDB), workflows, and automation to enhance operational efficiency and transparency.
• Vendor & COTS Application Management: Lead vendor relationships and provide escalation support for Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) applications, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
• Infrastructure Operations: Direct the operations of Network, Security, Servers, Virtualization, Storage, and Backup systems to maintain high availability, performance, and data integrity.
• Platform Administration: Manage and optimize enterprise platforms, including Oracle OVM, Dell PowerEdge, and PowerScale/Isilon, to support scalable and resilient IT infrastructure.
• Disaster Recovery & Data Protection: Ensure Disaster Recovery (DR) readiness, robust data protection strategies, and proactive capacity planning to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
• Security & IAM Solutions: Oversee security and Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, including Ping Federate, to safeguard enterprise systems and data against threats.
• Oracle Applications DBA: Lead Oracle Apps Database Administration (DBA) operations for Oracle E-Business Suite, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability.
• BPM & Data Science Platforms: Manage Ultimus Business Process Management (BPM), KNIME, and ETL/Data Science platforms to drive process automation and data-driven decision-making.
• Monitoring & Observability: Lead the implementation and management of monitoring and observability solutions, such as SolarWinds, Datadog, and Zabbix, to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
• Endpoint Management: Administer SCCM/Intune for endpoint patching, deployment, and compliance to ensure a secure and up-to-date IT environment.
• Automation & DevSecOps: Drive automation initiatives, scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DevSecOps practices to enhance operational agility, security, and efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• IT Service Management (ITSM): Extensive experience with IT service management frameworks and tools, including ServiceNow.
• Virtualization & Compute: Proficiency in virtualization technologies and compute infrastructure, including Oracle OVM and Dell PowerEdge.
• Storage & Backup: Expertise in storage solutions, backup strategies, and data protection mechanisms.
• Database Administration: Strong background in database administration, particularly with Oracle E-Business Suite.
• Network & Security: In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, security protocols, and IAM solutions such as Ping Federate.
• Automation & Scripting: Hands-on experience with automation tools, scripting languages, and IaC frameworks to streamline IT operations.
• Monitoring & Observability: Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms, including SolarWinds, Datadog, and Zabbix.
• Enterprise Platforms & COTS: Experience managing enterprise platforms and COTS applications to support business-critical operations.
