Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Management & Oversight: Lead the development and execution of cost control strategies, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and financial plans across all project phases. Conduct regular cost reviews, variance analyses, and financial reporting to identify deviations and propose corrective actions.
• Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive cost reports, financial forecasts, and performance metrics for stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and senior management. Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, or ERP systems) to track expenditures, analyze trends, and optimize resource allocation.
• Risk Mitigation & Compliance: Identify financial risks early and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard project profitability. Ensure full compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and Egis’ internal financial policies.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted financial advisor to project teams, providing insights on cost-efficient decision-making and resource optimization. Engage with clients to align expectations, negotiate terms, and deliver transparent financial governance.
• Process Improvement: Drive continuous enhancement of cost control methodologies, leveraging best practices in financial management and project economics. Implement innovative tools and techniques to improve accuracy, efficiency, and decision-making processes.
• Team Leadership: Mentor junior cost engineers and contribute to a culture of financial discipline and accountability. Foster a collaborative environment that prioritizes transparency, integrity, and data-driven excellence.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, complemented by a minimum of 8+ years of experience in cost control, financial management, or project accounting—preferably within the infrastructure, construction, or engineering sectors.
• Proven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial forecasting, with a strong background in managing multi-million-dollar projects.
• Familiarity with cost control software (e.g., Oracle Primavera, MS Project, SAP, or ERP systems) and financial modeling tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, vendors, and internal teams in a high-stakes environment.
• Certifications such as PMP, CPA, or CFA are a significant advantage.
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Arabic are essential for seamless communication in the Riyadh market.
