Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, virtualization, cloud platforms, and disaster recovery systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in:

• Designing and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure infrastructure environments, including hybrid and cloud-based systems.
• Overseeing the administration and optimization of both Windows and Linux environments, ensuring peak performance, reliability, and compliance with industry best practices.
• Implementing and managing virtualization technologies and cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions to streamline deployments and scalability.
• Leading backup, monitoring, and disaster recovery initiatives to safeguard critical data and ensure business continuity in the event of failures or cyber threats.
• Enforcing robust security controls and compliance measures to protect against vulnerabilities, threats, and data breaches while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex system and infrastructure issues with minimal downtime, leveraging advanced diagnostic tools and analytical skills.
• Supporting infrastructure projects, including upgrades, migrations, and integrations, to align with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and best-practice guidelines to ensure knowledge transfer and operational consistency.

Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior System & Infrastructure Engineer with a proven track record of excellence in IT infrastructure management. Ideal candidates will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems and infrastructure engineering, with a focus on enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in Windows and Linux administration, including scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
• Proven experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), including serverless architectures and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions, including replication, snapshots, and business continuity planning.
• A strong understanding of infrastructure security, including network security, identity management, encryption, and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues efficiently.
