Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Developer to join our dynamic technology team. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Developer, your core responsibilities will encompass the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and beyond. Your duties will include:

• Software Development & Enhancement: Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications that align with business requirements, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability. Lead the implementation of new features, system enhancements, and performance optimizations to meet evolving organizational needs.
• API & Integration Development: Architect, build, and integrate RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services to facilitate seamless communication between systems. Develop and optimize database schemas, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and management to support high-traffic applications.
• Frontend & User Interface Development: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces that enhance user experience and accessibility across multiple platforms and devices.
• Quality Assurance & Performance Optimization: Conduct thorough unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure software reliability and adherence to quality standards. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, memory leaks, and scalability challenges to maintain optimal application performance.
• Collaboration & Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with business analysts, QA engineers, DevOps specialists, and infrastructure teams to streamline development processes, accelerate delivery timelines, and ensure seamless deployment. Act as a technical mentor and advisor to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices, coding standards, and compliance requirements to safeguard sensitive data and protect against vulnerabilities. Stay abreast of emerging security threats and industry regulations to ensure our applications remain secure and resilient.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architectures, API specifications, and deployment procedures. Ensure clarity and accessibility of documentation for stakeholders across the organization.
• Production Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide expert-level support for production releases, troubleshoot critical issues, and lead post-deployment activities to ensure smooth operations. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating emerging technologies, recommending enhancements, and driving process optimizations.

Qualifications & Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in software development, with a proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise applications. Experience in full-stack development is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in backend or frontend development, with deep knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Proficiency in modern frameworks (e.g., Spring, .NET, React, Angular) and database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) is essential.
• API & Integration Skills: Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and event-driven architectures. Familiarity with message brokers, ETL processes, and third-party integrations is a plus.
• Software Design & Best Practices: Solid understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and architectural styles (e.g., MVC, microservices). Commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to industry standards and best practices.
• Testing & Debugging: Proven experience in unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools such as JUnit, pytest, or similar frameworks. Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Methodologies & Collaboration: Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative development. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Domain Knowledge: Prior experience in Banking, FinTech, or Payment environments is preferred, with an understanding of financial systems, regulatory compliance, and transaction processing.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning and innovation. Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and mentor junior team members.
