Key Responsibilities

The Plastic Surgery Consultant will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties, including:

• Patient Assessment and Management: Conduct thorough evaluations, diagnose conditions, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients requiring aesthetic, reconstructive, or plastic surgical interventions.
• Surgical Expertise: Perform a diverse portfolio of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures with precision, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
• Patient Counseling and Education: Provide detailed consultations to educate patients on surgical options, associated risks, anticipated results, and post-operative care requirements.
• Perioperative Care: Oversee and manage all aspects of patient care before, during, and after surgery, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative follow-up.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including anesthesiologists, nurses, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Clinical Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulous medical records and adhere to hospital protocols, quality assurance standards, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and patient safety.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in departmental meetings, clinical audits, and ongoing medical education to stay abreast of the latest advancements in plastic surgery and enhance clinical skills.
• Service Development: Contribute to the strategic growth and enhancement of the plastic surgery department by implementing innovative practices and improving service delivery.

Required Qualifications

To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: Hold a recognized Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) and have completed a formal Plastic Surgery Residency Training program.
• Board Certification: Possess Western Board Certification, Arab Board, Saudi Board, European Board, or an equivalent specialist qualification in Plastic Surgery.
• Professional Registration: Maintain an active and valid SCFHS (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties) Consultant classification and registration.
• Experience: Demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-consultancy experience in plastic surgery, with a proven track record of successful surgical outcomes and patient-centered care.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Arabic is mandatory to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
• Commitment: Exhibit a strong dedication to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous professional development.

While expertise in all areas of plastic surgery is valued, candidates with specialized experience in the following domains are particularly encouraged to apply:
