Position Overview

The Cleaner – Medical Pharmacy plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency of our hospital pharmacy and adjacent areas. This full-time, on-site position in Taif requires a meticulous and dedicated individual to perform a range of cleaning and sanitation tasks in strict accordance with hospital hygiene protocols. The role involves sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting floors, shelves, work surfaces, and storage areas to ensure a sterile and organized environment. Additionally, the cleaner will manage the safe handling and disposal of waste, including medical and packaging materials, while adhering to infection control guidelines and established procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Environmental Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning of floors, shelves, work surfaces, and storage areas in the pharmacy and surrounding zones, ensuring compliance with hospital hygiene standards.
• Waste Management: Safely handle, segregate, and dispose of medical and non-medical waste, including packaging materials, in accordance with infection control and regulatory guidelines.
• Supply Replenishment: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials to ensure uninterrupted operations and adherence to sanitation protocols.
• Safety and Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance or safety concerns, including equipment malfunctions or hazardous conditions, to the appropriate personnel to prevent disruptions in clinical activities.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with pharmacy and nursing staff to coordinate cleaning activities, ensuring minimal interference with patient care and workflow efficiency.
