• Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain robust backup strategies, disaster recovery plans, and business continuity measures to safeguard critical data and systems.
• Infrastructure Security: Implement and enforce security controls, best practices, and compliance standards to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve complex system and infrastructure issues with minimal downtime, leveraging advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project and Migration Support: Lead infrastructure projects, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to services.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this position, you will bring a strong foundation in systems and infrastructure engineering, coupled with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems and infrastructure engineering, with a focus on server administration, networking, and cloud technologies.
• Proficient knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, including administration, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Kubernetes, as well as cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Familiarity with backup solutions (e.g., Veeam, BackupPC), monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus), and disaster recovery strategies.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security best practices, including access control, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
